Thanks for dropping by my blog. I hope you’ll be able to find some resources here that will offer encouragement and insight to increase your impact as a church leader.
This is a place to collect some thoughts about life, love, and leadership in the local church and doing our best to serve Jesus in ways that are both culturally relevant and Biblically sound. I’ve recently released my book More than a Conqueror: 5 Pathways to Personal Revival which encourages spiritual growth in your walk with Jesus.
I was a pastor in Hilo before moving to Oahu to further my education in ministry. In May 2014, I completed a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Ministry at Pacific Rim Christian University and call Journey Church Hawaii my home church. I am not an expert or authority but simply someone who loves the local church – with a heart to serve and encourage the small church leaders in particular.
This blog is a part of my attempts to pass along some lessons on life, love, and leadership to help church leaders increase their impact.
I love sharing God’s Word in practical ways that encourage people to enjoy Jesus’ grace and extend His glory. I’ve been blessed to speak at local churches, conferences, youth, and men’s ministries. In the marketplace, I’ve been a social worker and law enforcement officer by trade for over a decade.
When I’m free, I love spending time with my family, reading, playing my guitar, exercising, and taking my Harley Davidson out on the road. Thanks for visiting! Please don’t forget to visit my website tytamasaka.com for more resources.
